I lived in the university town of Würzburg from late summer 2013 until the beginning of 2021. A 130.000 inhabitants city with a high quality of life in tranquil Franconia-region, in northern Bavaria. Student life, the river Main, wine, sights and the contrast between echoes of urbanity and provinciality make up the city.

my former Würzburg-based guided tours

Around 2018-2019, the idea for guided tours, excursions, city tours, and regional and themed tours developed from private outings with expats in the university town of Würzburg. These tours were initially free of charge upon request. I brought the guided tour concept back to my old home, which became my new home again in 2021. In Mecklenburg, this led to the development of my tour company “seenplatte.guide Tours & Services.”

For nostalgic reasons, I’m keeping the old website and my initial tour offerings online.
